Design - The Outskirts of Doodleburg

Hello! Today we're going to talk about the outskirts of Doodleburg, where cardboard houses can be seen nearly all the way up the cardboard mountain Doodleburg is nestled against. Not too close to be dangerous, don't worry! An early inspiration for our artists were the beautiful and complex Brazilian Favelas, and we've worked to continue along those same lines with our level design as well. You'll see this influence strongly in the outskirts, where the houses are stacked high against the mountain -
