Engineering - Making Fading Buildings!

Hello world! Have you ever had the experience of finding your character hidden behind walls when walking in busy cities? Today we're showing off our brand new mechanic which fades out particular buildings when the player moves behind them. Right now we have three types of fading. First is based on direction, where walls will fade out once the player passes a certain point. The second one is based on a specific area, which will fade out walls when the player enters into designated spaces. The third is inside buildings, which will use the fading technique to control an entire building in-game and fade in/out objects when the player is in different parts of the level.

These mechanics not only make our game look cool, but are also easy to implement by every designer on our team!
